Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
We want every student, associate and supporter to be able to use this site, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or a slow connection.
What we aim for
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In building this site we have:
- checked colour contrast, body text meets AA and most of it meets AAA;
- made every interactive control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline;
- written real alternative text for every photograph;
- used proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate the page;
- honoured the "reduce motion" setting, animation is switched off if your system asks for it;
- kept the site usable at 200% zoom and on small screens;
- avoided colour as the only way of conveying meaning.
Known limitations
- Some archive photographs are lower resolution than we would like, and may look soft when enlarged.
- PDF study guides are being reviewed; older files may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will supply an accessible version.
- Payment pages hosted by PayPal and Pesapal are outside our control.
