SUMMARY:New Chapter in Focus Fundraising Dinners
DESCRIPTION:FOCUS events are reunions\, parties to reminisce about the good old days and catch up with loved ones.\nMbarara and Jinja regional Fundraising Dinners were no exception. We had teachers reunited with their students\, old friends catching up\, people making new connections while the rest were just having a good time and rendezvous.\nWe had teachers reunited with their students\, old friends catching up\, people making new connections while the rest were just having a good time and rendezvous. \n \nWe were able to raise 6 million from the dinner in pledges in Mbarara and almost UGX. 4 million in Jinja. With the cash raised during the Mbarara Dinner FOCUS Ministry paid for land in Omukabare-Masha Isingiro 10km from Mbarara town. \nWe got eleven more life membership pledges in both regions and Associates who pledged to help the ministry in any other way possible like gathering old-timers to me back and support the lord’s work. \n \nWe appreciate all the associates who turned up and supported the Ministry\, thank you. And those that could not make it but supported through prayer and giving we appreciate you.

DESCRIPTION:The Annual FOCUS Mission Camp is back this year from 10th to 13th April 2020. Last year we hosted 480 students at Gerenge Camping and Retreat Centre and this year we expect our numbers to grow to over 600 students. We would appreciate any assistance rendered to make it possible for a CU student to attend. \n \nMany students’ lives have been touched and transformed over the years during FOCUS Mission Camps. Let your giving bring transformation to this nation’s next generation of leaders.

DESCRIPTION:Brethren\, what new thing are you seeing on FOCUS\, let people work for GOD. Can we see the glory of God in this region? FOCUS has been in place since 1983 (for the sake of Mbarara) but we do not have a shop to operate in\, do we have anything that can be used to generate income and preach the gospel to people far away from here? \n \n  \nThe one\, who made the sea to dry for his children to cross for his glory\, is still ready to see his glory in this town. I desire and pray that God helps us to have a vision of having a new FOCUS.  We pray for the leadership of FOCUS that we may be able to see far and see a different FOCUS. FOCUS is a sleeping lion. Let us wake up and be a new thing for the lord. He is ready to give us his hand for his glory.
